Landed at about 11:45 a.m. Gotta love Jet Blue, with the televisions in every seat. Watching SportsCenter makes those 6 hour flights just … well … fly by.
Long Beach airport is tiny. We actually walked out of the plane and onto the tarmac outside. Took about 20 minutes to get our luggage, but they were all there.
AT 38,000 FEET OVER TEXAS — I had the opportunity to pay $20 extra for today’s plane ride, part of Jet Blue’s (and every other airline’s) new efforts to suck every penny out of the overtaxed, overcharged, under-served American consumer, when I stepped up to the counter with two suitcases to check.
Glad to contribute, boys. This one’s for the economy!
At least they gave me free animal crackers.
