Thank you for the data. You failed (I think) to mention Mitsubisi&#039;s.
What of their MTBF etc for LCD;s?

I am curently looking for a Plasma HDTV from Panasonic.
The Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U looks promising.

Another brand I am interested in is the Mitxubisi LT52246 LCD.
(My old 51 inch Rear Projection Mitsubisi of 15 years Finally Died)
It would require a Video chip and a couple of Vertical output Transistors. ( very hard to find these days- small volune, high $$ parts at that age)

Any wisdom on these issues?
