Well, it’s not all bad: the Yankees are out

Alex Rodriguez went 0-3, batted 8th and averaged .071 for the series.

As much as I encourage positive thinking and discourage rallying the troops against something as opposed to cheering for our cause; as much as I wish the Red Sox were in the ALCS instead of the Tigers; as long ago as 2004 seems; there remains, some unexplainable satisfaction in seeing the other guy lose. Call it Boston bitterness or foolish pride.

It still feels kinda good.
