PRrag Version 2.0 has been uploaded!
There is still one remaining bug. The sidebar drops to the bottom in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
That is being worked on constantly but until it’s perfect, I’m going to go ahead and recommend Firefox.
Update: Aug 27, the sidebar works perfectly in all browsers EXCEPT Internet Explorer 6 and below. If you [...]

Chelsea Snyder, a fellow contributer to Blogcritics put together a great piece of writing Tuesday that is worth mentioning.
The article performs a criminal analysis of the author by tracing her through her school yearbook by “analyzing” different portions of it.
Entries include:

I agree with Rep. Pete King, (R-NY), for perhaps the first time:
Ray Nagin needs to shut up.
CNN reported Nagin, the mayor of New Orleans who recently won a close re-election bid, is known for “his blunt style.” That is at best an understatement and at worst an amazing softball toss at a man who proudly [...]

There have been three important developments in the world of technology and biotechnology today.
First and foremost, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune…
Pluto, the tiny heavenly body at the edge of the solar system, has been declared a planet no more. This comes after a weeklong debate as to what exactly constitutes a “planet.”

By now, the Tom Cruise/Paramount split is well known and documented.
Instead of exhaustedly discussing the details of the split and explaining exactly why Cruise’s image has everything to do with his paychecks, this reporter is going to show you some headlines:
“Cruise isn’t just weird, he’s scary” David Wischnowsky, Chicago Tribune Aug. 23.

An effort has been made not to make this a weekly Dell/AOL problems column.
However, Dell makes the cut again today as image problems continue for the direct-sales computer manufacturer. The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that institutional investors like [...]

Joe Rosenthal, the Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist who captured the flag raising at Iwo Jima despite being told he was too blind for combat duty in World War II, died Sunday. He was 94.
Mr. Rosenthal captured one of the photography age’s most treasured–and perhaps the most reprinted–images when, in a fraction of a second, he [...]

As promised, PRrag takes a look at the iSoundCap a hat that holds your iPod and earbuds allowing you to move sans-cord with your music blasting in, on and through your head.
When a press release came across my desk for an iPod hat, I wanted to see what it was all about.
The product an interesting [...]

Snakes on a Plane was the number one movie at the box office this weekend.
Not maybe. Not barely. Not “only with the Thursday night screenings.”
Snakes, the stupid, predictable, internet buzz movie raked in $15.25 million on its opening weekend to beat out “Ricky Bobby” and “World Trade Center” as the number one movie in America.
This [...]

The Internet age finally has its cult, b-movie classic.
Snakes on a Plane starring Samuel L. Jackson and Julianna Margulies (and that’s about it…) has been one of the most talked about movies of the summer. This buzz comes amidst “Pirates,” “Superman” and other tremendous names on film this quarter.
The movie, being called SoaP by its [...]
